The Ministry in Russia is at a trickle, but the Music Studio continues to serve Saint Petersberg Churches.  

Dawn Musci Ministries in Colorado is reaching out to the communities in Colorado Springs and surrounding areas through a caring harp ministry.  We are expanding and growing in new and exciting ways. We are still a non-profit and reach out to the homeless, sick and lonely, encouraging others to use their musical talent to serve the Lord. 

As with many ministries, God orchestrated it from the beginning. Fitz and Becky Fitzgerald went to Russia to help on a youth Missions Trip from her brother Edwin's church. Saint Petersburg was the first stop; an instant bond formed, and God created a new family, tying heartstrings tightly. One year later, a girl's singing group took form.

Singing like "angels" in the local church's choir under the leadership of choir director Nina Elisheva, they began to dream of sharing their songs with others. So, in answer to their prayers, 'Dawn' experienced their first mission tour, blessing Ukraine and Crimea with beautiful music. They boarded the train to Ukraine and the Crimea peninsula for a "singing mission's trip." They blessed small village congregations and large city churches. One church was so eager to have them sing that several men carried an old piano up a ladder to the loft for the concert. In addition, they performed at a military base near Chernobyl for a youth conference with military families and for a group of deaf women who waved their hands in the air instead of clapping. It was an excellent experience for them as they learned first-hand how to use their God-given talents to minister to others.   

The girls made several CDs with the help of Fitz, Becky, and the piano player Valera, who spent countless hours perfecting them. They recorded the music using mattresses as the sound buffer in the church hall and were on a TV program showing the process of making their CD. The few proceeds of the CDs went towards expenses and the goal of having a music studio to continue their ministry of helping others through music. 

Dawn is an exceptional group of women (and men). The first and second groups are grown and have their own families. Their ministry to the Churches in Russia was an extraordinary mission. They sacrificed time and energy to serve the Lord. Now their families carry the torch to all parts of the world.
